Eclipse maven updating indexes
Certainly I have installed Maven plugin from Marketplace, same with spring ones etc.
My OS is: Ubuntu 16.04 I would appreciate any kind of help.
Recently I face an strange issue while using Maven in Eclipse via M2Eclipse plugin.
I have created a Maven Java project in Eclipse and subsequently tried to add Spring framework as dependency, to my surprise, nothing was happening.
I don't check "Mirror Any" (beacuse didn't understand that).
It also allowed us to support multiple repository indexes, including updating, browsing and searching index content.
It is also now possible to use Nexus indexer CLI tool to index arbitrary Maven repositories and make index downloadable to various consumers.
The problem is the following: 1) In Eclipse I open my project and the file.
I try to add dependency from external repository but I couldn't find anything in the search dialog of m2eclipse. I've added the repo-remote to the left list, saved the config and rebuilt the index. 3) So I've tried to add a remote repository into the local (on my pc) Nothing changes. Open Artifactory-Admin|Services|Indexer page and enabled the "Nexus Indexer" check-box, 2. check the logs for when the indexing completed, and 4. I checked the artifactory logs and found a 404(Not Found) response.
Search for eclipse maven updating indexes:
Then I quickly checked Maven settings in Eclipse and found that the option which is required to download and build the index was not turned on. To give you some background about how Eclipse search dependency on Maven remote repository, be it default Maven central or internal Nexus repository.
